The Winemakers Dinner in Canon City is one of the region’s hottest tickets around. Award-winning Executive Chef John Kuespert, from Cheyenne Mountain Zoo Innovative Colorado Cuisine, will pair up with Winery at Holy Cross Abbey winemaker Jeff Stultz for an epic evening of wining and dining.
This is the 19th year for the dinner and the 7th year that it has been held at the Royal Gorge. Chef Kuespert has expertly combined Colorado produce and proteins with international ingredients to create a unique and memorable menu. Highlights include a Duck Confit Croquette and Peach Cornbread Waffle paired with Merlot Reserve and Elk Tenderloin paired with Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve.
The cost of the dinner is $150 per person, inclusive of tax and gratuity. Special pricing for Congregation members is $140. Guests will receive a commemorative wine glass, and the dinner ticket can be used to visit the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park Friday at a discounted rate. The ticket can also be used for discounts in the winery tasting room during the harvest weekend.
Please note, pre-purchased tickets are required to attend. Tickets go on sale September 1st and can be bought online, over the phone or in the tasting room.
