Join us on Saturday, September 1, 2024 at 10:00am for an exciting 2nd annual event that features the amazing scenery and landscape of The Winery At Holy Cross Abbey! Since July 2002, The Winery at Holy Cross Abbey has been attracting visitors from Colorado and all over the world. Striving to produce the best Colorado Wine, the winery is located on the pastoral and serene grounds of The Holy Cross Abbey, nestled against the spectacular backdrop of the Wet Mountains. So please join us for this new event and whether you are looking to run, walk or just enjoy the wine, this race is a sure thing for a great time and an incredible experience!

Officially founded in 2019 as a nonprofit, Royal Gorge RIO started as an idea. Since the early beginnings, RG RIO has improved river accessibility to our community. The creation of WKRP (whitewater park) has removed man made debris and hazards along the river bank to create a beautiful and inviting place of recreation. Royal Gorge RIO looks to the future to expand on their ideas to create an inclusive river community for all ages and abilities. Through water safety education, river conservation, and whitewater recreation, they will positively impact our community.
